CUEVA DEL TIGRE

It is the most famous place of the Quequén River. Formerly, the place was used to dip the river by the aborigines and by the first settlers of the region, for which it is also known as 'Paso del Médano'. It is located a few kilometers from Reta, and according to legend, its name is due to a bandit who took refuge in the caves of the place - a rustler nicknamed 'el Tigre del Quequén' -, back in 1860, who took advantage of the forced passage of wagons and stagecoaches to rob them and keep a loot.

It is one of the favorite places for fishermen, being able to obtain good specimens of smooth and pejerreyes, it has a beautiful waterfall and ravines. A place of recreation, which invites you to explore the ravines, enter the countryside and enjoy the tranquility.
